Self archetype description
The Self refers to the deepest part of your psyche and is the embodiment of your wholeness and completeness. It is the ultimate symbol of a true nature and essence. The Self represents the perfect balance between the conscious and unconscious parts of the psyche, bringing together both the feminine and masculine principles in a harmonious way.
The Self is often referred to as the “Higher Self”, signifying the most elevated and sacred expression of a human’s Being. It is an ever-elusive concept and living in a constant state of unity with it is difficult. Nevertheless, we strive to gain an experience and a sense of connection with the Self, as it provides a sense of grounding and support in our everyday lives.
