1. DATA PROCESSING PRINCIPLES

Narbuli Retreat House and data collection partner HubSpot, Inc. collect, store, publish, transmit, and store Client data in accordance with the laws and legislation of the Republic of Latvia to best serve their customers and fulfill contractual obligations.

All personal information provided whilst making a purchase through online booking and at the online shop is confidential and treated in accordance with the requirements of the law concerning personal information. Personal data is the information provided by the Client making the booking (name, surname, email address and telephone number).

When paying by credit card, the data provided by the Client is protected by an SSL security protocol, ensuring that the information provided cannot be viewed or modified by persons who do not have official access to such information. Payment transactions with Visa and MasterCard payment systems are carried out with the help of the payment service provider ‘MakeCommerce‘ by Maksekeskus AS, which stores Client card data in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Estonia and the European Union. Maksekeskus AS is a PCI-DSS service provider that meets all the necessary requirements and offers payment solutions, including exchanging payments between Parties through Visa and MasterCard. Maksekeskus AS does not share personal data received during the execution of payment transactions with third parties. The information available to the Parties is limited to the type of card used and the last two digits of the card number. If Narbuli Retreat House needs to return a sum to the Client in accordance with the terms of cancellation, order alteration or refund, the safe environment of Maksekeskus AS will be used for this.

Collection of Personal Data

HubSpot, Inc. (CRM platform) has the right to share the personal data of Clients with the authorized data processors of Narbuli Retreat House in order to effectively use the collected data to provide the best customer service possible.

Narbuli Retreat House is responsible for the activities of the authorized data controller and ensuring the compliance of the data controller with the Narbuli Retreat House principles of processing personal information.

Collecting Non-Personal Data

Non-personal data, which cannot be directly linked to one specific person (e.g. browser version, language preference, location, time spent on a page, etc.), is also collected and it is treated as generalized customer behavior in the booking system and online shop of Narbuli Retreat House. Aggregated data is used for upgrading the service/product of Narbuli Retreat House.

HubSpot, Inc. (the provider and system administrator of the CRM system) and Narbuli Retreat House keep personal data in their databases and a Client has the right at any time to access his/her personal data and information about the actions performed by him/her. A Client has the right at any time to demand corrections to his/her personal data if the data has changed or is inaccurate for some other reason. Terms and Conditions of the Privacy Policy – by using the booking engine or online shop, you are familiar with and agree to these principles and conditions.
